UrbanElevate opens the door to the world of innovative urban mobility!

Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University and Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration, with the support of EIT Urban Mobility, are launching the UrbanElevate project, which includes three unique programmes for startups, innovators, students, scientists, business representatives and local governments.

The UrbanElevate project aims to promote and develop Urban Mobility in Ukraine, contributing to the creation of a comfortable, environmentally friendly and accessible urban environment for all.

If you have an idea on how to improve road safety, arrange public areas, or make the city more inclusive and accessible through an innovative approach or technology, this is an opportunity to see your ideas come to life!

What programmes does UrbanElevate include?

1. Acceleration programme for startups/researchers:
– Individual mentoring.
– Development of a personalised product launch plan.
– Search for partners and access to a network of European experts.
– Assistance in preparing a startup application to EIT Urban Mobility – Impact Ventures.

2. Training programme:
– For local authorities – a three-month course ‘Leadership in Urban Mobility and Innovation for Municipal Transformation’.
– For researchers and students – a three-month course ‘Innovative Research and Entrepreneurship in Urban Mobility’.
– For industry representatives – six-week course ‘Implementation of sustainable and data-driven solutions in urban mobility projects’.

3. Programme for children and youth
– Interactive training modules and practical tasks to improve digital and entrepreneurial skills for the circular economy with the support of the Girls Go Circular initiative.
– A one-day quest to assess the possibilities of inclusiveness in the city of Zhytomyr and develop practical recommendations.
